I figured I'd better get it over with, so I disclosed the price of a charter flight and asked if I could try to go to the UK.
Flat refusal. (Big surprise.)
Needless to say, I'm very disappointed. Also quite angry, because if he'd taken my earlier suggestions seriously I could have booked early and gotten a much cheaper flight.
