Nov. 17th, 2004 02:10 pmAs others have pointed out, John Morgan has died. He was the driving force behind most of my favourite Royal Canadian Air Farce sketches, back when Air Farce was still good. I remember bursting out laughing the first time I saw a Canmore license plate. Watch "Curling Marriage Breakup" and see the brilliance in action. You won't understand much of it if you don't know at least a little bit about curling though. How unfortunate that there are no clips on that page of his portrayal of the Queen Mother--or, even better, some of his radio sketches. ("Ohhh, Mrs. Merkin, I strroke yourr silky thighs!")
Amy DeLaPompa (John): "I've just returned from Thailand"
Bernard: "Bangkok?"
Amy: "No, just a little tennis!"

Yeah, yeah, I know. This isn't a real LJ update.
