procrastination doesn't pay

jaalaEver since I received my registration package in July, I have been agonizing over whether I would attempt to take a French course this coming year. Everything else was finished; I just couldn't decide about that one thing.
Today I read, deep in the bowels of the academic calendar (which has to be accessed online) that mail-in registration forms are only accepted until August 9. I'll have to stand in line for a few hours on September 9 and pay an extra fee of $100.
Damn.
