Jan. 28th, 2005 02:49 pmNow that Crazy for You is over, I've had the opportunity to attend both Native North American Music (MUSC 488) and The Symphonies of Gustav Mahler (MUSC 477) and I am totally unable to decide which one to drop. Both have interesting and helpful professors, both have fascinating topics, both have lectures/seminars that are enjoyable to attend... and both conflict with other activities in my life. MUSC 488 takes place at the same time as Swing Club dance lessons--something I really need to start doing this term because physical exercise would help with my myofascial pain. MUSC 477 takes place at exactly the same time as rehearsals for the church choir I so enjoyed singing in last term.
Argh. Before someone suggests that I keep both courses: I honestly don't think I could hack that. It's just not possible. And neither course will be offered next year.

I'm biased, but....
