My mum was born en route to a hospital in Washington D.C. and my dad was born in... Sault Ste Marie (ON) or Fredericton (NB), I'm not sure which.
3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer?
A Fry & Laurie video. (I've already bought the one that's commercially available.)
4. What’s your favorite restaurant?
I don't know, really. Anywhere that I can have a meal and not feel stuffed to the gills afterwards. Locally, The Copper Penny probably has the highest percentage of food on the menu I'd be interested in eating.
5. Last time you swam in a pool?
Ooh... a long time ago. I don't remember when it was. I've probably swam outdoors more recently than that.
6. Have you ever been in a school play?
Only a few. I was Little Red Riding Hood in Grade 3 and a toucan and Billy Goat Gruff in Grade 6. I was quite dreadful at Drama class (Grades 4 to 8) due to my painful shyness, and acting outside of English class ended after that.
7. How many kids do you want?
No idea.
8. Type of music you dislike most?
It's not so much the music itself as the amplification, but I hate when I can only hear the bass line of a pop song.
9. Are you registered to vote?
Yes.
10. Do you have cable?
Yes. I have the most basic package.
11. Have you ever ridden on a moped?
No.
12. Ever prank call anybody?
No.
13. Best friends?
It's hard to say. I've developed emotional attachments to many people but I doubt that anybody would classify me as their "best friend".
14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving?
I've always been intrigued by sky diving but I wouldn't have the nerve to jump out of a plane.

17. What’s your favorite comic strip?
Get Fuzzy or Sherman's Lagoon. I used to like For Better or For Worse but it's lost its sense of humour.

I used to know all three (!) English verses of "O Canada". I know the official anthem verse in both English and French. I just surprised myself by being able to recall the entire first verse of the "The Star-Spangled Banner"; I am a dual citizen, by the way, though I was born in Canada and have never lived elsewhere.

Shower in the morning.
20. Best movie you’ve seen in the past month?
It's a draw between "The Decline of the American Empire" and "The Merchant of Venice".
21. Favorite pizza topping?
I have developed a strange taste for pineapple.

Depends on the brand. I love Sun Chips but not very many other brands of chips/crisps. I'm never able to resist buying popcorn at the movies.

Ha! No.

About a year ago, during the last federal election.
30. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato?
I don't remember.
31. Have you ever won a trophy?
I never won trophies. I did get a few honour roll, music festival, and dance festival ribbons and/or certificates.

Ha! (No. And yet I enjoyed cooking when I was a kid.)

No. But I can't drive so it doesn't matter much.

No.

I generally only drink pop for its caffeine content, so whichever has more (or any) caffeine.

I had to *polish* my uniform! (Fort Henry Guard)

I got a bunch of emergency supplies for my trip abroad.

Yes. The last occasion I recall was at school in Grade 3.

True love. I mean really... what do you expect people to say?

No. Love is based on more than an initial impression.

I honestly don't know.
42. Who was the last person you visited in a hospital?
I think the last person was my primary school's honourary grandmother, after she had a stroke. I have visited nursing homes many times since then, however, and stayed overnight in a hospital myself (for a study).

Yes. It was reddish.

Tigger (a cat). The first pet I remember who was really mine was Ratty. Creative name, eh?

Dawdle and procrastinate on actually getting ready, because I'm too tired to make the effort.

That only one person (as far as I know) saw me sleeping at the JDUC.
