floor 15, home of the screaming couple

jaalaAh, joy.
They were at it again today, yelling, slamming doors and screaming obscenities at each other for 10-15 minutes at a time repeatedly throughout the day. The major development since the last time I mentioned it is that the female now yells nearly as loudly as the male. At one point, they were both in the hallway and the guy was right in front of my door, i.e. I could see him through the peephole. It's frightening stuff, not because I'm in any danger (so long as I stay in my apartment) but because it sounds like it's a physically abusive relationship.
When I arrived home from campus at 2am and the yelling started up, I reported them to the office for the second time. The superintendant called me back to say they already know what apartment is causing the noise--though I could have guessed that from earlier arguments that included such phrases as, "Call the police," and "Get me in trouble," (plus multiple expletives, of course)--but if I ever feared for anyone's safety I should call the police.
Well, that's that I guess.
