jaala | Oh, yes...

We had such a severe rain/freezing rain/ice storm yesterday that the power was off all across town for at least three hours. (I don't really know how long it lasted; I had a nap.) Walking about is very treacherous, as almost every (former) available surface is either sheer ice or extremely deep puddles of water.
