Surreal...
Apr. 1st, 2003 02:37 amFor a couple weeks leading up to last weekend, the weather had been gradually getting warmer until it was about like the weather was in Cambridge when I visited at the end of February. During the weekend, it rained like it would never stop. Nothing particularly unusual about that and (when I wasn't stuck at the Conservatory as it came down in sheets outside) I didn't complain: it was getting rid of the snow in as quick and painless a way as these things happen.
When I woke up today, I noticed that the air coming in through the open window was a bit chillier than usual but thought nothing of it. When I headed outside to go to dinner*, there were several centimetres of new snow on the ground.
Hmm.
* Yes, I'm still missing classes. Now I can't wake up until after lunch. And I can't fall asleep until the wee hours of the morning, at times like, say... now.
