In case it's not apparent from the last entry...
...I approve of the gay marriage thing. Without getting into much detail, I think all should be offered the choice to make a legally binding declaration of monogamy and be entitled to the personal and legal benefits of such a union. In my view, it can't do anything but promote so-called "family values."
(Actually, it was kind of funny when I first heard about it. Imogen and I were staying at the same place at the time--the B&B place--and I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom. She comes in and simply says, "They've legalized gay marriages!" I, slightly dumbfounded, respond, "Really? Wow." I guess you had to be there.)
