"Cram, cram, cram, cram..."

Am right in the midst of mid-term insanity. And with an unprecedented university course load, that's pretty darn insane. I failed my first theory test ever last week, and I remain pretty pissed off about the circumstances that kept me from finishing the test. (I got a decent mark, between 75% and 80%, on all the stuff I finished.) Still waiting for results from a five hour (with extra time) World Musics mid-term, and two more exams take place tomorrow.

On the upside, this school has more resources for late-night study. Right now, I'm just outside the coffee shop (open until 1am). They obviously know their public, as they sell "Exam Size" and "All-Nighter" coffees.

Notable events in my life have included (but are not limited to)
-a fantastic Danny Michel concert (I mostly agree with the review here; Ron Sexsmith show previously mentioned is reviewed here)
-a fabulous, friendly, fun (etc. etc.) weekend in Toronto with a bunch of Whosers
-a band concert that went pretty well
-(at long last!) physiotherapy which has enabled me to start practicing flute again.

Characterizations for Orfeo ed Euridice were worked out today. "I have layers." *g* (A supremely badly timed rehearsal, I must say.)

Love to all.

I also noticed that at least one other person here has the same feelings about winter as me.
