I am still alive but not doing too well academically (read: way behind!) after being sick for nearly two weeks. My cold never got all that bad, really, but the way it screwed up my sleep patterns (i.e. tremendously) has led to all sorts of negative results.

Events that have happened... um...

the fall ensembles showcase concert; I performed with the Wind Ensemble and Choral Ensemble

Mum came to visit, dropped off some winter clothing, took me grocery shopping (hurray! a car!), and came to church to hear the choir sing

I missed both QMT Rookie Night and Music Semi-Formal (because I was sick)

I keep trying to take my flute in for repairs but haven't yet managed to (a) contact the repairperson and (b) find the 1h 45 min required to take the bus there and back at the times he is free

I missed a helluva lot of classes because I couldn't fall asleep until the wee hours of the morning

It would appear that my alarm clock doesn't wake me up any more
