I've seen Billy Bishop Goes to War (that classic Canadian play with music) and The Blues Brothers (that classic music movie starring several Canadians). It was especially nifty to see Billy Bishop in Kingston, of all places, because I've probably seen that Martello tower where, according to the play, Billy had to eat a spider. The line "RMC? Royal Military College. Kingston, Ontario," is a tad redundant here, however.

Now that I've beheld the Baby Grand Theatre, I have some small idea of how crowded we're going to be in there in March.

Apparently they're building on to the balcony. Personally, I don't see that happening, but everyone insists it's going to. Meh, not my problem. :-)

Just a small platform we're kind of cantalevering out from the balcony, big enough for Sef and a music stand so he can see the orchestra and singer simultaneously. It'll be mostly drilled into the ground of the balcony, but there'll be some support struts along the side and guidewires hanging from the grid. It won't take up any floor space. Yeehaw

It might have been hidden at the show you saw; sometimes they cover it with curtains. When you walk in the door and turn to your right, then it's above the wall directly to your right.

Don't know!! It's nice not being on the production team sometimes. :-)
