This is what I currently look like, after participating in Cuts for Cancer. Note the classy practice room background. No, I will not start wearing makeup (as one friend suggested) to make sure people know I'm female. My head feels cold all the time.

In other news: life is hectic. The show previews next Wednesday and the orchestra is still pretty rough. Many other things have happened but my LJ notes remain in barest point form.

I suggested to Sef that we rehearse on Monday or Tuesday during the day (just the orchestra). I don't think anyone would object and I think everybody would make time for it. Hopefully it will go through.

Now... they weren't quite hip-length. I doubt it'll grow back drastically different; it looks so dark now because the "golden" colour was bleached that way by the sun.

You realized that I've now upped the ante by cutting my hair shorter than yours has ever been, right? What are you gonna do to match that?

When I was a baldy, I always wore a hat (a nice warm crocheted one) and slept with a hoodie pulled over my head.

You never realize how much warmth hair give you until it's gone, eh?

Yes, I'm wearing a hat most of the time now. Finally - a use for my Queen's tam! (I transferred here so I didn't use it during Frosh week or anything like that.)

I never understood why it's not really considered cool to wear your Queen's tam other than during frosh week or football games. There's one guy who wears his all the time and I always recognize him (he auditioned for CFU orchestra as well). But anyway, start wearing the tam and hopefully it'll catch on!! I think I'll wear my Queen's scarf tomorrow.
