May. 7th, 2006 01:36 pmAh-ha! I've discovered the Monty Python sketch that caused me nightmares and about half a decade of total fear of anything connected with their name. To an overly-sensitive child like me, this was horrific--more so because it was so incredibly corny. For some reason, camp horror and violence has always frightened me much more than anything realistic.
NB: Nowadays, I do really like Monty Python, by the way, even though they're not my favourite British comedy.
(Yes, I do intend to write a real entry some day.)

Date: 2006-05-08 06:31 am (UTC)My mom made this huge rug with a rainbow pattern on it, and it was the 80's so it was supposed to go on the wall. It scared the shit out of me and one night, I literally couldn't get back to sleep until my mom took it off the wall. Even when I see pictures of my old room and it's there, I shudder.
Also, old movies scare me. Like, Charlie Chaplin. Always have.
