a blast from the past

I saw Jai Rodriguez as Angel in the Toronto production of Rent in... uh, Grade 10... *counts on fingers*... 1997! He was easily my favourite thing about the show. I got his autograph--still a possible feat at the time, as it was still in previews and he hadn't yet become a big name--and he seemed quite shy then.

Now I absolutely have to watch that show, don't I?
