(no subject)

I may have mentioned my Lenten resolution only once in this journal, so here's a small update. I forgot on one occasion (at a party, I think), but aside from that I did manage to avoid eating dessert until Easter. My final day at university (Easter Sunday), I had a serving of the meal hall's superb carrot cake, and that was that.

Now I need to rid myself of a stultifying addiction to raisin toast, consumed after meals in lieu of dessert. *g*

All desserts? Good grief, and I thought giving up doughnuts was bad enough...I managed that one, despite NPL's habit of putting the damned things out every Tuesday and Thursday!
Wait...today's Tuesday...there's going to be such a sugar-fest at work...
