(no subject)
Jun. 20th, 2003 06:19 pmThe bath was surprisingly easy (although I'd still prefer a shower) and took no more than twenty minutes. I'm rather proud of myself.
Today, I made it out of the house before noon for the first time since I moved in. (As a matter of fact, it's been a rare occurrance when living elsewhere too.) Then I sat in a bookstore and read Stephen Fry's book about the Spectacled Bear for at least two hours. (Neat book, though.)
After a lifetime of deprivation, I've finally seen a wild pheasant--three times, in fact. A spilled birdfeeder (due to high winds during a storm) most likely had something to do with it. Though each sighting was separate, there are at least two of them hanging about because one was much fatter.
I finally got around to listening to Cabaret (Original Broadway Recording), taken out from the library at least a week ago.
Isn't my life exciting?
