No wonder I'm stressed out!

While pondering (in considerable frustration) the computer course situation, I ask a friend at the bus stop tonight what the standard number of classes per term is: she said five. Not including Wind Ensemble, I'm taking seven. I usually take a reduced course load! (My academic advisor must have intended for me to take six classes per term--still an overload although not so much--but three of the music electives ended up being in this term and one in the next.)

Needless to say, I have decided to drop the course and have notified the professor of my intent.

It isn't an issue of number of courses... it's an issue of number of CREDITS. Not all courses have an equal credit value (just like MtA). You should find out what the regular and minimum full-time credit laods are, and then stick to those.

DOn't worry about getting out in four years -- it probably isn't going to happen. Just do what you can handle.
