Again, not a real entry
I would just like to say that I purchased Barenaked Ladies' new CD Everything to Everyone last week, and I can't stop listening to it. I'm not a big fan of the mix--some of it even came across as abrasive on the first listening--but the music has grown on me in a big way. The first single ("Another Postcard") was not representative. To my (admittedly eclectic/weird/geeky/esoteric) ears, it contains some of their best material in a while. (But then again, I liked Born on a Pirate Ship.) Go! Spend a bit of your money! Reward them for having the guts to play atypical (sometimes not even "pop") pop music. They need to play in Toronto, dammit!

Still stressed out. Exams approaching fast. Need to finish already overdue essay by Monday. Yesterday and today, I saw my sister dance in her (professional) ballet school's production of The Nutcracker with the symphony here and had a good time. Hope everyone's well.

Hey, I liked BOAPS too! It's the only CD that has TWO songs by Jim...

Actually, I intended to buy it the day it came out (was on my calendar and everything) but things have simply been too crazy. The fact that I bought E2E before laundry detergent and food does say *something*, however.
