jaalaDamn! Wrote a long entry on Thursday that appears to have been lost. I know it included a mention of the weather advisory issued on Thursday, following the balmiest Christmas break in recent memory (temperatures in degrees Celsius):
Today. Sunny with cloudy periods. High minus 15.
Tonight. Clear. Wind light. Low minus 24. Extreme wind chill minus 34.
Friday. Sunny with cloudy periods. High minus 18. Wind chill minus 37.
I know I also wrote about the movie I ended up seeing on Thursday, The Station Agent, and its fantastic performance by Peter Dinklage.
In other news, I missed every single class last week (except for one band rehearsal) because I was trying to get over a cold. I'll certainly have to play catch-up this week. Opera rehearsals continue, every other day now. There are a couple numbers where everyone in the chorus forgets the (Italian) words all at once, and it would be funny if it didn't scare us so much.
