Other upcoming events
Feb. 16th, 2004 09:57 pmI'm volunteering at this. Should be exciting.
Immediately preceding the film festival, I'm paying a long visit to the local sleep clinic. That is to say, I will be spending about twenty hours in my pyjamas, covered head to toe in electrodes and straps. My previous experiences at a sleep clinic were not a lot of fun (in fact, they involved what was certainly the most boring night of my life) but I'm hoping something good will come of it this time.

hypno-helio stasis?
Date: 2004-02-17 08:46 am (UTC)*chuckle* Yeah. I'm used to warm, comfy jammies and a warm, comfy blanket when I go to bed -- not being strapped to some stiff, air-conditioned, vinyl mat. Except for that time at the leather club wh- ... *ahem* but I digress. *G*
Of course, you also have to take into account that I've lived in a tropical zone for over half my life (21 years) now, even if I was born and raised just below Michigan. *g*
I would have thought I'd remember some irritation with the wires and electrodes, but for whatever reason all I remember is my curiosity with the electrodes being "glued" to me. *shrug*
I hope for the best for both of you during your sessions. :)
*goes back to work, thinking of spending the day in bed*
