We had to read an article about Tristan und Isolde by Žižek this week. It's only twenty-five pages long yet I couldn't even read all the way to the end simply because so much of it makes so little sense to me. I feel like an idiot.

In other completely and utterly unrelated news, the Arrogant Worms now have a blog. (Yay!)

I'm gonna need some help on the pronunciation of "Žižek". Haven't seen those diacritics before ...

By the way, in case your system is getting different letters: it's "Zizek" with "v" diacritics over the Z's. The name is Slovenian. I heard the professor say it only a couple times so I've forgotten how he pronounced it. (Unfortunately, I slept through a good class drubbing of the article on Monday.) I'm guessing it's pronouned "Zhizhek" but I really don't know.
