I have got to watch this show some time. It's about a town even smaller than my home town, Paul Mather (from Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie) is one of the writers, I rather like Brent Butt, and the show has nifty guest stars--Peter Oldring and Kevin McDonald, for instance. (Kevin is featured in one of the bloopers on its website. The clip is called "Tax Man - MASH". He still does that thing with his hands!)

What really irks me is that most Canadians refuse to watch Canadian shows because they assume that Canadian television is bad. It's that damned inferiority complex...
