Monday was taken up almost exclusively with packing for the trip home. I don't think I slept more than a couple of hours on Sunday night either. I recall sleeping on my roommate's (now empty) bed especially, so that I would be able to wake up more readily due to the novel placement in the room.

I went to the long-awaited dentist appointment at 10:30, got my biteplate (finally), had a bite to eat, then met up with Dad for lunch. Then it was packing until dinner. Then dinner, then more packing, with Dad getting more and more impatient. And more and more unpleasant. And more and more irrational. Removing boxes to the car before I was finished with them. You get the picture.

In the midst of a trip to the Conservatory (or somesuch), I managed to get him to allow me to visit Imogen for a few minutes. I needed to ask when she'd be free the next day. She was also packing, although in her case it's getting a head start on her move to Alberta late in the summer. She presented me with a candle unearthed while sorting through her belongings; the candle holder has a stain-glass-style angel on it. A very warm hug ("just in case", she said) cheered my evening up considerably.

Then, to a hotel in Moncton for the night.
