Inspired by dsch, I'm trying to think of an appropriately music-geeky Halloween costume for this year. After completely baffling people in my last year of high school by dressing up as Papageno, I haven't done anything for Halloween since. Any suggestions? Who do I look like, real or fictional?

Edit:: If I wanted to be really esoteric, I could label my hands as the Guidonian hand. Subtle yet noticeable. Also likely to wash off early in the day--okay, scrap that.

Aargh. I always confused him with Jean-Philippe Rameau. Musically, their differences are obvious; visually, they're just too close together in Grout. Early French opera composers seem too generic for posterity to differentiate them.

At least I figured out the Scarlatti brothers in more detail than "the one on the exam" and "the one we didn't talk about." Funny how the unknown is always the most useful in the long run....
